The Stellar Teacher Co. provides research-aligned literacy resources and professional development for upper elementary teachers. This summary is designed to give schools and districts a clear overview of licensing expectations. In the event of any conflict, the full Terms of Use govern.
What a License Covers
Each license grants one teacher access to the purchased product(s) for use with their own students.

Licenses are per teacher, not per school or per grade level

Each teacher must have their own individual login

Licenses are non-transferable
What Teachers ARE Allowed to Do
Licensed teachers may:

Use materials with students in their own classroom

Make copies for personal classroom use only

Assign materials to students through private classroom platforms (e.g., Google Classroom)

Access content through their individual account
What Schools & Districts Are NOT Allowed to Do
Schools and districts may not:

Share one license across multiple teachers

Upload materials or videos to shared school or district drives

Post materials on internal servers, LMS libraries, or shared folders
-
Distribute materials to teachers who do not hold a license
-
Record, repost, or redistribute PD videos
Product-Specific Licensing Overview
The Stellar Literacy Collective (SLC)

Licensed for single-teacher, single-classroom use

Teachers may copy materials for their own students

School license cost: $408 per teacher per year

Each license is valid for 12 months

Materials may not be shared or posted on shared systems
Purchase Orders & Access

The Stellar Teacher Co. accepts purchase orders for school and district licenses

Access is granted once an approved PO is received

If payment is not received within 60 days, access may be temporarily suspended
Renewal & Compliance

School and district licenses for SLC are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase or access

Renewal opportunities are provided prior to expiration
-
Unauthorized sharing or misuse may result in suspension of access
